The drive up to the cabin is on a very steep and curvy road. Please be cautious when driving to and from the home, especially at night. You will not have internet or cell reception while driving up the mountain so please download OFFLINE MAPS (Click HERE or HERE on how to download offline maps)
There’s a 450-foot gravel driveway that leads you to the cabin; use caution.
If this is your first time, please visit Townsend Visitor’s Center.
DOOR CODE – You should have received the smart lock door code via the platform, if not, please contact us. The code is for the Schlage Front Door lock and the code will only work during your reservation (4 pm on the check-in date and 10 am on check-out day). Our cleaners drive an hour to get to the cabin so please no late checkout.

NOTE: You will likely not have any cell reception once you are in the mountains, so save this information on your phone. If you have any difficulty getting into the home, you can connect to wifi from outside the home and make calls to reach the host.
We provide a starter set of toilet paper (2), paper towels (1), 1 trash bag (1), laundry soap, etc. We do not provide shampoo or conditioner. Our kitchen is also fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, coffee maker (regular drip), toaster, blender, etc to cook some basic meals.

The fireplace is only available during the winter time and it’s on a timer so it will be shut off in 2 hours. You can turn it back on for another 2 hours if needed.

NOTE: If staying 3+ days, you may need more of these items and are responsible for providing extras (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, etc.).
If you plan on using the CHARCOAL GRILL or FIREPIT, please bring your own cooking supplies: firewood, lighter, charcoal, etc. Please do not leave any food outside to prevent bears from damaging the property. We do not provide any supplies for the firepit or charcoal grill.
We have enough towels for 6 guests but it is recommended to always bring more.
We have a high chair but no pack-n-play or crib.
We only pick up trash on your departure day. Please take out the trash as needed to the bear-proof bins in front of the cabin and secure the bins. Please make sure you secure the lock so bears can’t get in.
Please do not leave trash or food in your car. BEARS WILL TRY TO GET IN AND DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE.
DO NOT FEED THE BEARS AT ANY TIME
Our hot tub is drained and cleaned after each reservation.
Please DO NOT TROW THE COVER ON THE GROUND. Use the lift and set it to the back
The hot tub lid must be secured with the strap after use.
