If you’re looking to invest in a vacation rental for the first time, it is normal to feel overwhelmed and unsure about what to do. We understand this feeling because we’ve experienced it ourselves, but we can also tell you it is worth it! In the last four years, we have bought more than 10 vacation homes, and although we faced many difficulties, we built a solid system and foundation. We can assure you that the rewards of owning a vacation rental are worth it. We have also opened our own booking business to help our clients get more bookings and better property care.
Since 2005, our team has been investing in real estate, purchasing both multi-family and single-family homes, and putting in long-term tenants to generate passive income. We also took on some fix-and-flip projects but desired something more appealing, lucrative, and, most importantly, more meaningful. Therefore, we started searching for properties that could be rented out on a daily basis, similar to a hotel. After an extended search, we were still looking for an ideal location. We found many seasonal locations, such as beach rentals, and areas with uncertain zoning regulations. We wanted something that was year-round, had great amenities, was close to a well-known attraction, and was located in a city where we could operate short-term rentals.
